New regulation for data protection
As of May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council, dated April 27, 2016 – became applicable. This regulation establishes the rules regarding the protection, processing, and free movement of personal data of natural persons and applies directly to all entities processing such data within any Member State of the European Union, including Portugal. The Company will retain the personal data of users and collaborators for the period necessary to comply with legal obligations. Personal data may be disclosed to judicial, tax, and regulatory authorities for the purpose of complying with legal requirements. At any time, you have the right to access your personal data and, within the limits of the Regulation, to modify it, object to its processing, decide on its automated processing, withdraw consent, and exercise other rights provided by law. If you withdraw your consent, this does not compromise the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that date. You have the right to be notified, as provided in the Regulation, in the event of a breach of your personal data and to file complaints with the competent authority(ies).
